We have been teaching stained glass classes at Renaissance Glassworks for nearly twenty years. All techniques required for the copper foil method will be covered, starting at the beginning. No experience is required to learn this beautiful craft!

We supply your pattern, practice glass and grinders for use while you're here. As always, while you are enrolled in any of our classes, you will receive a 10% discount on all glass, tools and supplies in stock.

Glass for your project is not included in kit price.  We supply your pattern, practice glass and grinder for use while you are here.

In the beginners class, you will complete at least two projects, which will involve cutting glass to a pattern, grinding the edges, copper foiling, soldering and finishing each piece.

Intermediate Workshops

At the end of the beginners sessions you may continue on your own or join in on the Intermediate workshop. This Informal class is designed to help you sharpen the skills you have learned and take you to any level of advancement you wish to reach.

Lead Method Classes
In the class we will cover pattern preparation, leading techniques, cementing, reinforcing and cleaning. You can choose one of our patterns or design your own (Must be approved by us before the class). Maximum pattern size is 24" x 24" and minimum size is 12" x 12". Experience in glass cutting is necessary and you need to bring your own cutting and soldering tools. Back to Top
